1Password Extension won't maximise

When I try to drag the 1Password Extension to the Chrome window, it won't maximise. There is an animation to maximise and then it bounces back to the original size.

I've reported this issue for 1Password 6 previously.

Thanks for writing in. Can you clarify what you're trying to do? Dragging 1Password extension to Chrome isn't supposed to do anything. Are you trying to snap 1Password mini to the edges?

1Password mini won't support full screen mode and there is no plan to support it, the bounce back is normal.

Yes, it won’t snap to the edges. I remember 1Password 6 did?

1Password mini is meant to function like a menu, so it doesn't support things like maximize, minimize, snap, etc. You can do that with the main 1Password window though, and that gives you access to everything 1Password can do anyway, while mini is an "abridged" version. :)

Thanks. However, because I am partial to 1Password 4, I really liked the UI of the 1Password 4 contextual menu which cannot be replicated in Windows and 1Password 7. A 1Password 4 holdout is the all numeric Password Generator which has been discussed elsewhere already.

We have plans to improve 1Password mini in 1Password 7, but it takes time and I do not have any timeframes for you at this point.

Between 1Password 4 and 1Password 7, it is only indirect, as with 1Password 4, the contextual menu will list nearly all the logins for a specific site at a glance. 20 logins will have 15 + see more (5) logins. I don't have 1Password 4 active now so I cannot display a screen shot.

1Password 7 doesn't fill or maximise the screen for logins like 1Password 4 does under Chrome or Firefox..
