1Password desktop application does not sync after even weeks of waiting [Unsupported old 6.1 build]

I have build 6.1.30308d. I am waiting while several items are 'pending changes' but never get synced.
I know I have to update my build, and have tried to do so several times and the program downloads but never actually runs the update.
What on earth am I to do?
If I uninstall and reinstall I will loose all my unsynced changes.

    Thanks for writing in.

    Unfortunately, that specific version you're using never got updated in time to get the updater fix from the 1Password 6.3 update, we waited an extra two months to ensure everyone got that update but some didn't. Because of that, your build cannot be updated again as it can't update to 6.3 first before the 7.1 update.
