  • @borz,

    Are they in /Applications? If not then that's why. Both the browsers and 1Password need to live in /Applications.

    @rudy

    yes, both are located in this directory and Spotlight sees them:

    ➜ ls -laFh /Applications | grep -i chrome
    drwxr-xr-x@ 3 victor.alenkov staff 96B 3 сен 23:38 Google Chrome.app/

    ➜ ls -laFh /Applications | grep -i firefox
    drwxr-xr-x@ 3 victor.alenkov staff 96B 30 авг 19:56 Firefox.app/
    `

    But they are launched in the "sandbox" OS means, since they are downloaded from an external resource:

    /private/var/folders/dg/1s_sjr9x48ddmgp0nqs_lcpm0000gn/T/AppTranslocation/863BC21C-7DEC-423B-A3F7-D8789285B368/d/Google Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google Chrome

    Previously, this problem was not - probably not here, and in Homebrew to get the issue.

    Thank you for thinking

  • @borz,

    Ah, yup, you're running into Apple's AppTranslocation feature. You will want to quit them if they're running, and run the command in the last comment in that Github Issue.
