Chrome extension

I recently "refreshed" Windows 10 and lost all apps. I have reloaded 1Password4 and recovered passwords etc. from Dropbox. However none of this will work with the reloaded Chrome extension which seems to want to do its own thing and force me to open a new account. What have I done wrong here?

    @Vergelegen: It sounds like maybe you didn't install 1Password 4 then. 1Password 4 does not support 1Password.com memberships at all, so it won't ask you to sign in or sign up for an account. Make sure you uninstall any other copies of 1Password before installing version 4, if you plan to continue using that. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with though. :)

    Don't know how you did it, Brenty. I read your comment, clicked the browser icon with a view to remove it, and there it was - working!! I am amazed and I thank you :-)
