Tiny translation flaw
I just discovered a tiny translation flaw in the German translation of 1password.com (accessed from Windows, hence the category, there doesn't seem to be one for the web version).
After importing passwords, it shows a nice greenish message stating "Hier sind Ihre importierten Artikel in Ihrem neuen zu Hause."
I'm sure you've got excellent people explicitely dedicated to translation, but just for fun I'm going to elaborate on this.
The correct translation would be:
Hier sind Ihre importierten Artikel in ihrem neuen zu Hause.
(notice the lowercase "i" in "ihrem")
It's the equivalent of the original
Here are your imported items in their new home.
-
The current version
Hier sind Ihre importierten Artikel in Ihrem neuen zu Hause.
actually means
Here are your imported items in your new home.
because the uppercase "Ihrem" is the formal way of addressing someone in German.
Such a fun language. :glasses:
