Where Verify web browser code signature option in 1Password for Windows 7
I was using 1password for windows 4.
This time I will upgrade to 1password for windows 7.
However, that option can not be found in the 7 version.
I have Naver Whale in my browser, and I can not use the 1password extension without that option.
How do I set up an option that works like "Verify web browser code signature option"?
1Password Version: 7
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Windows 10

I have same problem, hope add "Verify web browser code signature option" back to 1password 7!

Sorry for the confusion. Modern versions of 1Password always verify the browser's code signature for security. This is automatic, so there isn't anything you need to do to make it happen.

So how does browser certification work?
I was informed that Naver Whale issued a certification request.
I have not been able to upgrade to 1Password version 7 due to the lack of this option.0 -
Hi @Harold_Lee,
At the moment, 1Password incorporates a whitelist of supported browsers whose code signature is verified when an extension attempts to connect. Supported browsers are
- Safari (macOS only)
- Edge (Windows only)
- Firefox
- Chrome
- Vivaldi
- Opera
- Brave
Naver Whale is not one of the supported browsers, but if it is based on Chromium, you can try to install 1Password X, since it runs directly within the browser and doesn't need to connect to 1Password app on your PC.
Please give it a try and let us know how it works for you. Thank you! :+1:
Cheers,
