Fingerprint Troubleshooting

in 1Password 7 for Windows

Hello,

I've seen many topics about it but none of them gave me tips to fix this issue.

I am using windows Hello (w10) and I unlock my computer with my fingerprint and this is working fine.

However, with 1Password, I cannot unlock it with the fingerprint.

I try to click on the icon but nothing is happening. It's the same with the Chrome plugin.

Any help?

    Thanks for reporting this.

    What version of Windows 10 are you using and are you at work?

    This is usually a sign of an outdated Windows issue or a group policy blockage.

    Windows 10 1703, yes at work. If this is due to a group policy blockage, I would like to be able to find out which one as I could ask them to change that if possible. Can you help me? thanks

    Hi @thatann44,

    Unfortunately, you need the 1709 update to make Windows Hello work in 1Password.
