Does 1Password check the "remember user name" box on a log in screen?
This is a nuisance with my Wells Fargo log in. Although I start the log in process with the "Save User Name" box blank, after I have 1Password fill in user name and password the "Save User Name" box is checked and I get a warning about saving user names on a shared device. I haven't noticed this on other log ins so maybe Wells Fargo is doing it. I'll have to be more observant on other log ins for a while.

I do not believe that 1Password checks that box. Please make sure to uncheck that box and try to sign in to your account on Wells Fargo after that, here is their direct sign-in page: https://connect.secure.wellsfargo.com/auth/login/present

Used your link and box was unchecked but was checked with warning after 1Password filled in info. Tried it with my wife's WF user name and box remained unchecked. Does that tell you anything.

1Password will save the checkbox state if it was checked when you originally save it with 1Password extension.
To fix this, you can either re-save it manually without the check or you can edit the original item, expand the webform details section to remove the check:
