1Password on Windows10 with multiple logins

Hi and thanks for an excellent product.

When there are several user accounts on a Windows 10 machine, how am I supposed to set up 1Password? It works on the account on where I initially installed 1Password, but on the other ones on the machine it does not. I am not able to login or scan any login information when I start the Windows App, it only prompts me for a master password.

Kind regards

/Jonas

  • Hello, @jonasssa and welcome to the forum! By default, 1Password 7 will install just for the one user you're signed in as at the time you install. In fact, I'm not certain of a way to set it up for everyone at once as it's not something we support. You should have to install and set up per user and it seems that's what you'd like to happen here.

To help, could you tell me if you altered how 1Password was installed in any way? Did you install it as administrator? Did you install it once per user? If you sign in as a user other than the one you used to set up initially, are you able to unlock the app there with the original user account's Master Password? I'm inclined to believe something was installed improperly along the way here, but these answers will help me sort out what exactly went wrong. Thanks! :chuffed:
