Why setting up vault is much easier in web than in program

I talked about it there.

In the program I was asked for a new password for the vault and the directory.

On the web I was just asked for the name of the vault.

Why?

And where is the best place to get answers?

@aegos: Thanks for sharing your feedback! Vaults in 1Password accounts actually can only be created on 1Password.com. 1Password for Windows can create standalone vaults, which isn't something you'll want if you're looking to share passwords. These vaults won't sync to your account and need to have sync set up manually, which makes sharing a struggle. Best to stick to creating them on the web for now, but we're definitely considering options to allow the app to shoulder more of the load so you don't have to sign into 1Password.com as much. For now, you can learn all about creating and sharing vaults in your 1Password account here:

If you want to create a vault in your 1Password account, you will need to do that via web interface on 1Password.com the the time being. Please give it a try and let us know if this is what you want to accomplish. :) Thanks!
