Accessing on another device
Purchased(?) 1Password years ago on iPad via App Store. believe it was a one time payment. Want to access on iPhone (Version12). Not tech savvy. Don’t have Secret Code or Emergency Kit when attempting to set up another device. Very frustrating. Leaving for trip abroad and need PW on iPhone not taking iPad. Please rsvp as if you’re speaking to a 6 yr - although they probably would grasp and follow along more easily.

Hi @Ciocic
The best way to use 1Password across multiple devices as well as to be sure you’re able to keep up with our latest updates is a 1Password membership. You can learn more about the benefits of membeship here:
What are the benefits of a 1Password membership?
And you can learn about how to migrate from what you have now to a membership here:
Move your existing 1Password data to a 1Password account
I hope that helps!

Ben I also purchased 1Password years ago on App Store. I may want to purchase a membership. Do I have to pay $4.99 a month for the membership and then an additional $49.99 for the 1Password 7 update? Thanks

No, the subscription covers all versions permanently. And the price of $4.99 a month is, I think for a family. For one person, if you make an annual payment then the monthly equivalent is $2.99, but if you pay each month it is $3.99

@rapid: Indeed, a 1Password.com membership includes everything: all the apps, all the updates, automatic offsite backup and item history, and you don't have to deal with license management or sync configuration anymore: you just sign into your account on each device to access your data. 1Password Families is the same, just with an account for each family member (up to 5 are included in the base price). I hope this helps. Be sure to let me know if you have any other questions! :)
