Dropbox transfer

I had 1Password on a windows machine (now not functioning) synched to Dropbox. How do I transfer that instance of 1Password to my new Windows computer? Thank you

Thank you for getting in touch! I am sorry to hear about your Windows machine.

If you used 1Password 4 for Windows on your old computer and synced your local vault via Dropbox, please try to do the following on your new computer:

1) Download and install 1Password 4 for Windows from here.

2) Launch it and select Used 1Password before. Point it to your vault in Dropbox.

3) Activate this copy of 1Password 4 using your license.

Please note that 1Password 4 for Windows is an old version of 1Password for Windows that will not receive any new features. I would recommend you to sign up for 1Password account. This will allow you to use our new app, 1Password 7 for Windows, and avoid situation like this in the future. When you have 1Password account, all you need to do on a new device is to download the app and sign in to your account. It is that simple.
