Please add a refresh or force sync button?
    Even it's just a placebo?

  • Hi @lkstc112233,

    Thanks for writing in.

We have no plans to add a force sync button because we already do that internally. If there is no successful connection, we automatically force it once an hour, after every change you make, and every time you unlock.

There is almost always a reason why it didn't sync and it is often due to an external factor.

Please use this guide to generate the 1Password diagnostic report and email it to us at support+windows@1Password.com. Also, in the email, include the link to this thread along with your forum username, so that we can connect the email to this thread.

Let us know here when you've sent it, so we can confirm we got the email.

After deletion of local cache, a re-login and a reboot the sync was successfully done. I will send that once the problem occurs again.

  • Hi @lkstc112233,

No one should have to do that but please do send it next time; we need to understand what happened in order to improve 1Password, so it doesn't happen again.

    Thanks!

    Hi @MikeT,

I'm sorry to say that but the problem happened again.

I'll send you the diagnostic report.

    Hi @lkstc112233,

Thanks, we got the report and will reply to your email when we finish analyzing it. At first glance, you have a network interference blocking 1Password from syncing.

In case anyone meets the same issue with me, I'll post my solution here:

It seems that there's a problem where all ipv6 sites are unreachable. I disabled the ipv6 protocol for my network and it solved the problem. A further solution will be checking my network devices and enabling a tunnel mode for ipv6 sites.

  • We'd love to hear your progress if you manage to figure out what it was.

    Thanks!
