Help reseting Windows app

Hi, I had to do a recovery of one of my family users and we had to change her emial, etc. I managed to get all of this done and I have access to the vaults and account online, but the windows desktop app only asks for password, as I have a new one it does not open. I have tried uninstall and install a new one but the new install opens to the same place. Can someone explain how to reset the windows app so that it is configured like a new user.
