1 Password 7 licence install
ive recently migrated to a new machine and upgraded to 1PW 7, will my !PW 6 licence work and if so how do i re download it ?

No. You need either a 1PW7 licence or a subscription.
When you open the downloaded 1PW7 from AgileBits (the App Store version is subscription only) you will see a large green button saying Subscribe Now and in small type a clickable line saying need a licence. We have those too."
I believe, and AgileBits strongly recommend, that the sub is the better choice. See https://support.1password.com/why-membership/ for more information.
You can try out the sub for thirty days.

@Gadget: I've resent your license information via email. You can either just follow the instructions there to install and register the version you paid for, or purchase a license for 1Password 7 right in the app -- or get that along with all the apps and upgrades as part of a 1Password.com membership. Thanks for that!, i've upgraded to 1PW 7 and subscribed. Am i correct in understanding that the dropbox backup is no longer required once a membership is valid? i now have 2 vaults but will keep the dropbox option until i understand where backups are now kept.

@Gadget: Correct. Anything in your 1Password.com account is automatically backed up offsite. That way, even if all of your devices are lost, stolen, or destroyed, you can access your data again just by signing into your account. Make sure you have your Emergency Kit. :)
