get access to dropbox folder

I have 1password on my ipad and my iphone. I now want to get access on my windows labtop and retire my ipad. But I seem to be unable to add my information (on dropbox) into the 1passord app on windows. I get asked for the "vaults" password, and it seems not to be my Master passoord neither my dropbox password. I would not mind adding a 1password membership to my 1password license, but I am unable to understand how I can do that neither

Thanks for writing in.

I have a few questions;

1. Are you only using one vault that you're syncing via Dropbox to both your iOS devices?

2. Do you have a symbol (don't tell us) in your master password that Windows may not interpret correctly?

If it is yes to both, the next suggestion is to first do a backup with this guide on your iOS device: and then change your master password with this guide on one of your iOS devices, make sure you choose a strong master password without any symbols in it. After Dropbox finish syncing everything on your PC. try again to open it with 1Password for Windows app, see if you can unlock now.
