Can we recover previous passwords?

I have a portable drive with photos etc on it and I can't access the drive, as the password I have isn't being recognised. Is there some way that I can check the record to retrieve the previous password, in case I have altered it on 1Password, but not updated on the external drive login? If so, I'd like to try entering the previous password and see if that works.

Before you suggest getting a new/reset password, it isn't an option, so if I can't work this out, my photos will have to be lost.

Thanks for writing in.

Is this a Login or Password item? If yes, select that item and scroll down, you should see the View Previously Used Passwords button. Click on it to expand and you should see your old passwords for it.

If you're not seeing anything but you do use 1Password.com account, we do support Item History on the website as well. View that item on your https://my.1Password.com site and scroll to the bottom where there's View Item History button, click on it to see if you can find the old password.
