Read first: Previous version support information

I need to start over with 1Password but cannot find the location of my data file as described.

in 1Password 4 for Windows

I have the instructions but the preferences tab does not allow me to highlight it so I cannot get to the location of the data file. Can someone walk me through this on the phone??

    Hello @ErinJanssen,

    Sorry to hear about your troubles.
    The preferences window in 1Password for Windows will allow you to highlight the filepath with the mouse and copy it using the keyboard shortcut CTRL+C.

    If this doesn't work you can simply navigate to the folder manually in the Explorer. By default the data can be found in your Documents folder in the 1Password subfolder.
