1Password 7 Mac Standalone license won't allow me to create new items
I've been using 1P8 for a while. I checked my 1P7 installed on my Mac. I have a perpetual standalone licence for 1P7 with iCloud vault.
I discovered that my 1P7 would not allow me to create new items or import passwords.
Why is that?

or - You downloaded 1Password from the Mac App Store. That version does not support licenses. You would want to Download and install the version from our site. https://app-updates.agilebits.com/download/OPM7
I would caution you that items created using 1Password 7 in iCloud would NOT sync with 1Password 8. 1Password 8 is membership only and does not know of 3rd party sync types. 1Password 7 is also no longer supported and will only receive important security updates moving forward. I would highly encourage you to continue using 1Password 8.
