1Password 7.9.2 never finishes updating on my mac

Since December 2020, my Mac has tried to update to 1Password 7.9.2 repeatedly and it never finishes the update

1Password Version: 7.7
Extension Version: 1Password 7 Version 7.7 (70700016) Mac App Store
OS Version: MacOS 11.1

    Hello @donnafreer! 👋

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble updating to the latest version of 1Password for Mac. Can you try these steps:

    1. Close all browsers.
    2. Open 1Password.
    3. Select 1Password in the menu bar at the top of the screen beside the  logo.
    4. Hold down the Control (⌃) and Option (⌥) keys keys on your keyboard and click Quit 1Password Completely.
    5. Open the App Store and try to update 1Password again.
