1Password 8 automatically filling a junk login when pressing ⌘\.

After upgrading to 1Password 8, oftentimes after not using 1P for a while, I'll go to fill a password and it will randomly fill an unrelated login on the website that I'm interacting with. It appears to be the same junk login every time.

    Nothing to share just yet, but I'm hopeful it will be soon. Keep an eye out on 1Password Releases or here to know when it's available in the production channel.

    The issue has been resolved when upgrading to the beta channel. Any word on when that update will get rolled to production?

    Thanks, I just switched to the beta channel. I'll follow up if I have any other issues.

    Hi @Matthew1551:

    This is a bug we're investigating, and have sorted out on our beta and nightly releases. If you'd like to give the beta release a try, you can switch using the steps here:

    Use 1Password beta releases

    In the meantime, if you look in your 1Password items for a Login that has a Linked App of Chrome, editing that item and removing the link should improve your state of play.
