1Password App Windows 11 PC Will not start or open

If i try to start the 1Password app, it closes down immediately and won't even open up. The Browser extension works though on Chrome. Version of app: 8.10.62   I need help to solve this please.

I'm sorry that the 1Password app isn't opening, do you receive any error messages when the window closes? We've received reports that hardware acceleration can cause an issue like this, can you try turning it off:

  1. Try to unlock 1Password for Windows and note that the main window doesn't open.
  2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in the taskbar (bottom right of your screen) and select Settings.
  3. Click on Advanced and uncheck the option for Use Hardware Acceleration.


Then try to open 1Password again. Do you see the same issue?
