1Password Browser Helper won't quit

I have the 1Password extension turned off in both installed browsers (Safari & Chrome), but the helper process won't quit, or force quit. Any ideas on how to force it to quit? 1Password Versi...

Can you tell me a little more about why you're trying to quit the "1Password Browser Helper" process? Is there an issue that you're running into that you hope to fix by quitting the process?

"1Password Browser Helper" is spawned and kept running if you have app integration turned on in the 1Password for Mac app. You can turn off app integration by following these steps:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
  2. Click on 1Password next to the  in the menu bar.
  3. Click on Settings.
  4. Click on Browser.
  5. Turn off "Connect with 1Password in the browser".

Once turned off, the "1Password Browser Helper" process will close.
