ModeratorThanks for the reply. If you have app integration turned on for 1Password in the browser then I would expect the desktop app to open when you try to unlock 1Password in Safari. However, if your browser is closed then 1Password shouldn't opening randomly just because the menu bar icon is turned off even if app integration is turned on.
If you're interested in helping me to investigate this further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Mac after reproducing the issue one more time:
