1Password Mac software keeps opening

I have 1Password for Mac downloaded from the website.

Each time I put in a login or even open any Mac app the 1password app launches to the front of the screen. This started happening after updating to the newest version today

1Password Version: 8.7.3
Extension Version: 2.3.7
OS Version: Monterey 12.4
Browser:_ Chrome 10.0.5060.114 Silicon

    Can you try the following steps? Let me know if they help.

    1. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    2. Under General, disable "Integrate with 1Password app".
    3. Fully quit 1Password app and browser.
    4. Restart the 1Password app and then open browser.
    5. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    6. Under General, re-enable "Integrate with 1Password app".
