App integration with the browser extension isn't working for macOS 10.15 and macOS 11 [Known Issue]
When the 1P desktop app is unlocked, the 1P Firefox extension used to unlock automatically. That has stopped working. I restarted Firefox and it fails to unlock every time even though the 1P desktop app is unlocked. I have already tried rebooting the macbook, etc. but nothing fixes it. I have the 1P desktop app set to never auto-lock. The 1P extension is set to integrate with the desktop app and not auto-lock.
The latest versions of macOS (for this macbook), Firefox, 1P FF extension, and 1P desktop app are installed.
This feature seems to get fixed and broken depending on the release. Please fix it ASAP.
Please regression-test your releases on all platforms, not just the more popular ones.

1Password for Mac 8.10.46 81046013, on BETA channel fixed the Firefox sync issue for me.

Thank you for your patience. Our development team has released a fix for an issue where the integration between the 1Password desktop app and 1Password in the browser would be broken for users on macOS 10.15 and macOS 11. The fix is currently available in the beta version of 1Password for Mac (8.10.46-13):
If you do try the beta then please let me know if the fix doesn't work. Once testing is complete we hope to release the fix to the stable version as soon as possible.

I'm sorry that you're affected by the same issue. If you're using macOS 10.15 or macOS 11 then this is a known bug that our team is working to resolve. Please see my post above for more details: https://1password.community/discussion/comment/717765/#Comment_717765

Got it.
Thank you.
I don't know if you make announcements about things like this (if so, please tell me where) but it might lessen confusion a tad if you did.

We've recently aligned the version number formatting of 1Password in the browser with the apps so that you see the same release number across all platforms. 8.10.44 is the latest stable version of 1Password in the browser.
Updates to 1Password in the browser and the apps will also now come on the same day to make things more steamlined. 🙂

Thank you, Dave, for letting us know you're aware of the problem.
Yes, I'll do that workaround. It's simple enough.
My hardware functions fine -- I hate to junk it -- but with macOS 10.15 it is maxed out.
The integration seems to have been fine up until maybe the last update. I'm sure you folks will get it fixed. I appreciate that you still support, my goodness, twelve year old Macs. Even Apple doesn't do that.

P.S. What is the latest version of the 1Password browser extension? Firefox tells me it's 8.10.44.34, but I remember it being 2 point something. Did you change the numbering system, or am I looking in the wrong place?

Apple won't let me update my macBook to macOS 12 so I'll have to wait for the fix. Thanks
