Autofill for subdomains broken
Hi :)
I use the 1Password Mac application (1Password for Mac 8.10.62 (81062027)).
For a few days now, 1Password has been refusing to autofill in Safari for subdomains that are not explicitly part of the entry. Meaning it fills for test.com but not for rainbow.test.com .
I checked the autofill settings for the entry and it is set to default, as it should be. I have done all the basic troubleshooting steps (update everything, restart everything), but no luck. This is very disruptive to my workflow, is this a known bug?
Thanks a lot!

I just recreated the login from scratch - still same problem.

Hey Dave!
Thanks for your kind reply!
I double-checked the autofill behavior - see the screenshot.
More general info on this:
- So far I only noticed this with this one login, but it might be the only one with different subdomains.
- It used to work. I have been using this login with different subdomains for a long time.Do you have more than one website address added to this item?
I did not when the problem first occurred. I added another subdomain and that solved it for that specific subdomain. Is the item suggested on the page and it's just not being filled properly?
No, it is not suggested at all. What if you add the exact subdomain that you're trying to fill on to the login item then does the item fill correctly?
Yes - for that specific subdomain. - 1P_Dave

Hello Linus! 👋
I'm sorry that 1Password isn't properly filling your login credentials on certain websites. I can't reproduce the same issue here on my end. Can you double-check the autofill behaviour for the login item in question:
- Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
- Edit the affected login item.
- Make sure that the website address is set to "Fill anywhere on this website".
It sounds like you might have already checked this. Do you have more than one website address added to this item? Is the item suggested on the page and it's just not being filled properly? Or is it not being suggested by 1Password at all? What if you add the exact subdomain that you're trying to fill on to the login item then does the item fill correctly?-Dave
