Autofill on Hilton website stopped?

Have been  1password user for a very long time.   For some reason, it stopped filling in the user/pw on hilton.com.    Other sites still work fine.    Am using Firefox 148.02 on MacOS Tahoe 26.2.  Anyy suggestions on what changed?   Thanks in advance.....

It might be related to a recent form or script update on the Hilton login page that sometimes breaks autofill detection in password managers. Updating the extension or re-saving the login entry in 1Password often helps. I had a similar issue once and found a helpful tip through https://alostoratv.app/, which explained how small site changes can affect autofill behavior.

Another symptom...    When I go to login on other websites, 1Password provides 'suggestions' of the logins that may be appropriate.   On the Hilton site login, I do not get any suggestions, despite having multiple (now) logins for that specific website...    And it all worked just a couple of days ago.

Thanks, Chris, tried that.   No joy.   Then I deleted the login for Hilton, and recreated it, but 1password still does nothing.   When I click on the userid or pw boxes, I get the drop down with my login, but clicking on it does not populate the login box...    Sigh.    You can see the 1Password icon in the password box, and it seems to recognize the login it has stored, but will not put it into the fields.

Hi Tomb73, thanks for your reply!

I've done some testing on my end, and so far I'm seeing the same result as my colleague Chris - everything is filling normally. I'd also like to note that I've redacted the screenshot you included, as it contained some login information.

Could you follow the steps below for me:

      1. Right click on the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar, and click Settings.
      2. Click About.
      3. Let us know which extension version is listed there.

I look forward to hearing from you!

        It shows

and another symptom.   If I click on the 'save to 1password' button on the hilton login screen after I manually enter user/pw,  get:

Very strange as it only happens (to date) on hilton.com.

  • Hi Tomb73 thanks for reaching out!

I apologize for the issue filling on the Hilton site.

I’ve taken some time to test the behaviour you mentioned on the site, and I was unable to recreate it on my end. Could you try the following steps to create a new manual login for the website:

    1. Go to the website’s login page.

    2. Type in your login information manually - don't click login.

    3. Right click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.

    4. Select Save > Login and save it as a New Item.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions.

    -Chris

      Hi ChrisC1P,

I am experiencing the same exact issue and after following your directions, get the same error screen as Tomb73.

        Hi Eido,

To confirm, are you using Firefox as well? If so, my colleague noted above that it was working correctly in the beta version of the extension. Could you give that a try?

If you're not using Firefox, could you confirm what browser and version fo the 1Password extension you're experiencing the issue in?
