Backup to an external Drive

In the past I could save all my 1Password to an external Drive. (Print - save as PDF)
Now I can see only options as in the photo attached.
Is there a way to save all 1P Data as before ?
Thanks.

Thanks you for reaching out. It looks like you've asked this question previously in 2022, here's a quick summary of the previous conversation: 1Password 8 doesn't include a print feature and, generally speaking, there's no need to perform an external backup of your items since you're already paying a membership fee to have your items backed up to 1Password.com in the cloud. Printing items to PDF introduces security issues since a printed PDF isn't encrypted and you won't get notifications that someone accessed the PDF like you would if someone accessed your 1Password account.

If you're concerned about losing access to 1Password then I recommend creating and printing a recovery code instead so that you can recover access even if you're lost your account password or Secret Key.

That being said, I've shared your comments regarding an external backup with the team internally. Thank you for the feedback!

      Hi Dave,

I'm also concerned about not being able to securely backup my 1password data elsewhere.

My understanding is that 1password backs up the passwords online, but if the vault is deleted then that is not recoverable.  Hence, if a miscreant did manage to get access to my 1password account then presumably they would copy the few financial related passwords that they thought would be most helpful, and then they would delete the vault, knowing that it cannot be recovered.  Not only would all my passwords be lost and compromised, I wouldn't even be able to know the list of all the sites that I was storing in 1password to try and take remedial action.

Isn't this a unrecoverable single point of failure?  I.e., you are forced to put all your eggs in one basket, and keep your fingers crossed that nothing can ever go wrong.

I presume that this is something that has already been considered - so how is this mitigated please?

      Kind regards,
      Rob

Thank you. It seems that a new computer brings questions, Sorry for that.
