Can 1Password for Safari window be resized? Or allow items to be opened in new window?

I notice that in the 6 or so hours since writing this post, my 1Password for Safari extension has updated itself from version 2.3.1 to 2.3.3 ... which suggests that when I made the post, I was using an outdated version. Is there no way to force a check for updates to the browser extension? Before making my post, I opened the browser extension settings to check the version. Shouldn't that have prompted a check for an update? There is no button to force it either.

In any case, my request still stands -- nothing changed in regards to what I wrote above.
