Hey,
I'm an engineer at Supabase and our users have reported issues scanning the QR Code generated by our MFA implementation using the 1Password Desktop App. We currently advise developers to embed the QR Code as an SVG in an image tag (e.g. <img src={qr} width=... height=...> </img>
)
I have also confirmed that the issue persists on other devices and that we have granted screen recording permissions.
It seems to work fine with the 1Password Chrome extension, and brightness doesn't seem to help with scanning, so would think that it's unlikely related to image quality.
Could the team share more around how the scanning is done on the 1Password Desktop App?
It's important for us as we act as an Authentication Provider and we also use our Auth implementation on our platform. So this would help quite a few users. As such, we'd like to fix this ASAP so that all users can have the best experience possible when using 1Password with MFA.
Please let us know if there are any additional details required.
Thanks!
