Concern about "managed" work profile and personal 1Password
I recently left an employer; I had two "managed" browsers for my work accounts I used on my laptop - one for a work Google Workspace login on Chrome, and the other for a Microsoft work account using the Edge browser (both on my Mac). The computer itself wasn't managed.
I may have added my personal 1Password extension to both browsers. (I am not certain; had been there a long time and some things were second nature after a while.)
I am concerned that the employer might have been able to access 1Password. How do I check for this -- is there a way to check in 1Password?

Log in to your private/family account on 1password.com (or .eu or .ca) -> go to the top right (your user badge or avatar) and click 'my profile'. There is a neat little section called 'My profile' -> just ditch any "Chrome Extension" or other account you do not trust (anymore). Fun fact, you can't delete your browser session, so at least that still remains your "trusted device". So if you accidentally delete your personal phone or desktop installation, at least you can still recover. So keep that browser open until you are sure no 'former' devices can use it but your 'active' ones still can. (Or ... if you fail that, ensure you have at least a copy of your Emergency Kit and/or recovery codes present).

This is great; thank you Tom! Question though: I'm currently on MacOS 15.3.1, and 1Password says my current device (a brand new personal device) is macOS 10.15.7? What accounts for that? I'm using VPN but that wouldn't get the OS wrong, would it? (The IP Address does match my current computer.)

You could double-check with something like https://www.httpdebugger.com/tools/viewbrowserheaders.aspx (seems like a 'less' invasive site for just showing your headers)? Just checking with a friend, his 'I'm up to date' Mac also shows him 10_15_7 on that side, though his Chrome shows 15.3.1 he indicates Safari shows 10.15.7 in the 1Password linked devices. So you should be fine I guess.

Good question. But personally speaking, I would never put my 1Password account on a device that wasn't a personal device, even in the case of a non-managed work machine.
