Does two factor authentication work in apps, or only for Safari?
The title says it. I recently switched to 2FA with 1Password as my authenticator app. But when I try logging in to my bank app and they ask for a code, I don't seem to get any help from 1Password. Is...

If Face I.D. checks your face when you sign into your banking app you might be good to turn your 2FA off by going to your banking website and go to the area where you turn on the 2FA and see if you can find their policy on how there 2FA works.
You will see that you have it set for 2FA every time no matter what.
If you turn it off and it is a big powerful bank they will still require a 2fa for any device it does not already recognize and you will be recognized by just your face I.D..
So if that is the case you would almost be just as safe without the hassle of unnecessarily having to enter a code.
In most cases I do have 2FA on, but if it is one of the big powerful banks that can buy the best security, then they will force 2FA to check for unrecognized devices even if you turn 2FA off at you bank.
Now a small bank might not allow you to turn 2FA off.
