How can I rename a photo I have attached to a vault item?

I took two photos and then attached them to a 1password vault item. The problem is they have a funky iOS file name which means nothing to me, so if I want to open them up, have no idea which one is w...

Hey lcox400w!

1Password doesn't support renaming any attached items at the moment, but I've passed this idea on to the development team to consider. As a workaround, you can do the following:

  1. Open the attachment, and tap the Share icon.
  2. Tap "Save to Files".
  3. Enter a new name for the item and tap Save.
  4. Close the attachment, and tap Edit.
  5. Tap "+ add more", then "Attach a File" and choose the file with the new name.
  6. Remove the old file, and tap Save.

If the file is sensitive (which is quite possible if you have it saved in 1Password!), don't forget to remove the file from the Files app when you're finished.

Give that a try and let me know how it goes.
