How to search for a specific string of text?

Hi,

If I try to search for a specific string, with or without using quotes, I've noticed that a lot of other results will show that don't match the exact string that I entered into the search box. How can I force 1Password to only return search results that make exactly what I want match? This seems like a pretty basic feature.

For example, if I search "john.doe@abc.com" in 1Password I'll get results that have "John Henry Doe" somewhere in them. There should be a way to search a specific string of text.

    Hi.... looks like many more users are complaining about this issue. A " . " is not an "OR"....

    Last year, June 2024, I submitted this issue as a BUG and seems to me that they are not taking this seriously.

    Issue #17472.

    Can't wait to hear from them.
