3 years agoHi folks! I'm very sorry to learn of this issue you've encountered. Our team is here to help set this right for you - here's how we can get started.
Since you aren't able to send us diagnostics from the 1Password app (I assume, since it sounds like you're getting a white screen where normal interaction isn't possible), we'll ask you to send us some logs from your system instead. This can give us some insight into what the 1Password app is doing when the problem occurs, and is often helpful for speeding up your time to resolution.
Here's how to get us that info 👇
I'll ask you to do the following:
In your version of Windows, open the Windows Search screen (your path there will differ a bit depending on whether you have Windows 10 or Windows 11, but if you're not sure how to do this let me know and I'll be happy to help.)
Copy and paste this into the Windows search bar:
%localappdata%\1Password\logs
. Then press Enter.Select everything in this folder, and then right-click and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder. If you're on Windows 11, you'll need to select show more options, and then send to.
With that, you'll have a tidy little zip file containing all the logs you see. 🙂
Then, send us an email at support+windows@1Password.com, and attach those zipped logs to your email. We'll go through the data and get back to you with either a few more questions or a solution for the issue. I hope this provides a helpful start!
