Lock keyboard shortcut becomes unavailable unless set globally

By default, 1Password assigns ⇧⌘L to Lock 1Password. This shortcut is global and I tend to disable it as it is quite often used in other apps. Unfortunately, by unassigning the shortcut...

With 1Password for Mac, you should be able to change the "Lock 1Password" keyboard shortcut within the app settings using the following steps:

  1. Open and unlock the 1Password for Mac app.
  2. Click on your account or collection name, then select Settings.
  3. Make sure that General is selected in the sidebar.
  4. Click in the field next to "Lock 1Password" and enter your preferred shortcut.

Can you let me know if you're able to adjust the setting to your preferred shortcut that doesn't conflict with other apps using those steps, rather than make adjustments in the System Settings of your Mac?
