Locks incorrectly after passphrase entered during screen sharing session

If I'm signed in through screen sharing to macos, and attempt to use 1password, I get prompted for touchid or to enter a passphrase.

I enter the passphrase, and immediately get prompted again, with a message saying that 1Password is trying to set up Touch ID for my account. I can't do that since it's a remote session, but it shouldn't be prompting me for that anyway - I opted to enter the passphrase, which was accepted.

After hitting cancel, since that's the only option available, 1Password locks within 5 seconds.

The makes any password referencing require the passphrase every time, and the 1Password application itself completely unusable.
