1Password TeamLastly, I wanted to brag a bit, because I've just engineered (using Keyboard Maestro) the setup that @alexclst proposed above. Now, with a single keyboard shortcut (of my own choosing), Keyboard Maestro will trigger 1Password for Safari only if Safari is the frontmost app; otherwise it will trigger Quick Access. It's working great! (Happy to provide details if anyone's interested.)
That's really really neat. I'm not a Keyboard Maestro user myself (I probably should be!) but I'm sure there are others that would appreciate it. I'd just add the usual disclaimer that as it wouldn't be an official integration it wouldn't be something the 1Password team could help troubleshoot.

At the moment, that is correct. There is ongoing discussion internally on the subject. I'm hoping we'll be able to improve this in a future revision. 🤞
