Safari Extension Started Asking For Password For Every Auto Fill [SOLVED]

.
I've been using 1P8 for some time without any auto fill issues. All of a sudden today, the iOS Safari Extension started wanting me to manually enter my password for an auto fill anytime Safari was closed and re-opened. I've always had the "Authorize After" Safari Extension setting set to "1 Week".
I tried disabling the Safari Extension, rebooting the phone and reenabling the Safari Extension. I then tried disabling auto fill on both 1P8 and iOS settings, rebooting the phone and then reenabling. Neither of which worked. I ended up having to completely uninstall and reinstall of 1P8, which was annoying, and that worked.
Is there anything else that can be done if this happens again? Is this a known issue?

The 1 week ‘fix’ appears to have been broken by the latest iOS/iPadOS update, Version 8.9.6… anyone else experiencing the same?! It feel like one step forward and two steps back with everything 1P do right now 😒

+1 to this issue. Crazy how this hasn’t been resolved.

Really hoping the team can get a hot fix out for this issue. With the most recent update, I am very regularly being prompted to enter my password for the Safari Extension on iOS 16.

+1 after latest update
Don’t want to beat a dead horse but v8 has been horrific from the very beginning and it seems each update breaks something else. Sometimes if something isn’t broke, don’t try and fix it and I think that’s what you guys have done with 1P8.

This issue has started occurring again for me after todays update and now my previous work around of doing a complete reinstall won’t even work. The 1 Week setting isn’t working for me either. This is absurd that it’s taking this long to sort out and is seemingly getting worse with subsequent updates.

Same issue on both iOS 16.0.3 and iPadOS 16.1 beta. It’s really frustrating. You need to fix this issue ASAP.

The team is working on a resolution. My apologies you encountered this snafu. Don't get me started on Snow Leopard, lol I was here in the community on the day it dropped. No problem, mind you. It's just I recall it fondly.
Did you check out todays release notes? https://releases.1password.com/ios/8.9/ We've got more fixes coming hang in there.
