Search - make it simpler...

Just installed V8 Beta for MacOS. First impression: I don't like search ... Please simplify it
In fact, I prefer the search behaviour of V7, which is the list of items adjusts on the fly as I type in the search field.

Now in V8, as I type a search term, e.g. "Google", the matches drop down from the search field. This is not what I want. Instead, I wish the item list would just narrow down to those matching dynamically, like in V7

I see no reason to having to press two keys (Command + Return) in order to get the matching item list displayed. This should be automatic, saving me from pressing extra keys.

In fact, Quick Access Search does exactly that. As I type, the list of items adjusts. No need to also press Command and Return.

@1Password, If there is a good reason for this new behaviour, please explain. However, please consider restoring the old behaviour for search.

Reinhard

Maybe an additional mode to "autocomplete for tags search" would be great.

Could you please add an option to revert back to the old behaviour?
( ) Use Classic Search Mode

I'm also used to the old style, type in your search and press enter like in every browser.

+1 on this. I was initially very confused by the new behaviour.
