To permanently delete 1password account & all data

After I delete the account from the website, are my password vaults still cached on my local devices or are they automatically deleted as well?

Do I also need to uninstall 1Password from each device to delete the local vaults?

Again thank you so much Simon.
Sorry to be such a pain in the ass but Computer wise I am a moron.
Therefor I really appreciate all your help.

To Summarize I have 1PW on BOTH my iPhone and my Windows computer.
If I wanted to delete EVERYTHING follow these steps:

    1. On Windows Desk Top:
    Start Menu
Gear โ€“ Apps โ€“ Installed Apps
    1Password โ€“ UNINSTALL

    2. On Windows Desk Top:
    Start Menu
    Type %LOCALAPPDATA%
    Open
    Find Folder 1PASSWORD
    Move to RECYLE BIN
    Empty Recycle Bin

    2 Questions Simon
    1. That will get rid of all my Secure Notes COMPLETELY ?
    2. Does it also remove ALL the data as well as the app from my iPhone ?

So basically doing the following does NOTHING ?

    1. SIGN IN

    https://my.1password.com/profile

    USER NAME:
    PASSWORD:

    2. MANAGE ACCOUNT PAGE
        BOTTOM OF PAGE
        PERMANENTLY DELETE ACCOUNT
        CONFIRM

      Hi Lexxx,

      No problem at all!

Using the 1Password website to delete your account does delete your data from our servers. The extra steps are to make sure no local data is left on any of your devices, since your initial question was about that.

The steps you listed for your Windows computer are correct! You'll need to also delete the app from your iPhone so that no local data is left on either device.

    Hi Lexxx,

If your goal is to be absolutely sure no local data is left on any device, I'd recommend following our article on how to uninstall 1Password and delete all local data. Depending on the device and operating system, the steps to delete all local data will vary.

Since you tagged this post iOS, I can tell you that you just need to delete the 1Password app to also remove all the local data from any iPhone or iPad.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions!

      Thank you so much Simon.

So that is for the iPhone app version But I also have on my Windows Desk top so I do the following steps:

      1. SIGN IN

      https://my.1password.com/profile

      USER NAME:

      PASSWORD:

      2. MANAGE ACCOUNT PAGE
          BOTTOM OF PAGE
          PERMANENTLY DELETE ACCOUNT
          CONFIRM

But do I also need to remove anything remaining on the Cache ?

        Hi Lexxxโ€‹ ๐Ÿ‘‹

For Windows, the steps are a little different! I've copied the steps from this article below:

        To uninstall 1Password for Windows

        1. Open the Start menu.
        2. Click the gear button (Windows Settings) > Apps > Installed apps
If you're using Windows 10, click (Windows Settings) > Apps.
        3. Click 1Password, then click Uninstall.

If you're using Windows 7 or 8.1, open the Start menu and choose Control Panel. Click Uninstall a program. Click 1Password, then click Uninstall.

To remove all local data from the device, follow these steps on your Windows PC.

        1. Open the Start menu, type %LOCALAPPDATA%, and choose Open.
        2. Find the folder named 1Password and move it to the Recycle Bin.
