Jack was referring to creating a new item as a Password item (File > New Item > Password).
It sounds like you're saying it should be a password.
That's correct, that was the suggestion. For what it's worth, I also do the same with this type of codes.
I've tried storing it as a password in a Login and a Password. Either way, 1P just calls it a Terrible password

For clarification, there isn't a correct way. The only correct way is the one that works best for you. For some people that will be a secure note, for others a password item, and I also know people who use Login items without a username for this type of information :) A Membership item could also be an option, now that I think about it:
