Two-Factor Authentication for EA doesn't work
Two factor authentication for EA (aka EA Origin) doesn't work.
1Password keeps on failing to read any of the QR codes that the site generates.
The site lets you choose between iPhone, iPad, Andro...
I'm following the steps written here: https://help.ea.com/en/help/optimized/login-verification-2/#app-authenticator
- I go to my EA Account's Security settings using my PC browser.
I click on "Turn On" under the Login Verification.
I verify my self by having the security code sent to me via email. (I think this step is skipped if you already verified yourself recently)
I choose "App Authenticator" in the "Turn On Login Verification".
I'm shown a QR code in the "Set up an App Authenticator", but none of the QR code work when I right click and copy the QR code to the clipboard.
So I never got the 2FA to turned on using 1Password. So there is no 'Scan QR code' option when I click on the three dots of my EA item. The screenshot here in Japanese but it only gives the options 'Play', 'Show properties', 'Repair', 'Uninstall', and my play time.
