I’m now with an iMac and use 1Password for Mac. ( Not from the AppStore) Need to use an external HD instead of the present internal Fusion Drive HD. How to use 1Password on the new external HD ...

Thank you for the reply. If you're using 1Password 8 with a membership then all of your items are backed up to your account on 1Password.com. You can confirm this by logging in to your 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).

Once you've installed macOS on the new drive then you can install 1Password on the new drive from our website: Download 1Password for Mac

Use your Emergency Kit to add your account to the 1Password app on the new drive.
