Zoom Password Generated by 1P Unacceptable

Hi, Today I received an email from Zoom informing me that my password may have been compromised and I needed to reset it. When I tried using the 1Password suggestion it was rejected. Thought...

Thanks for the reply. I removed the passwords from your last comment just in case.

My colleague Ali was referring to the password generator found in the browser extension, which has the Smart Password feature. You can access it by following these steps:

  1. Make sure that 1Password is installed in your browser: Get to know 1Password in your browser
  2. Go to the Zoom website.
  3. Click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar.
  4. Click on the menu icon (to the left of the New Item button) and then click Password Generator.
  5. Make sure that Type is set to "Smart Password".
  6. Copy the password to the clipboard or fill it on the page. Make sure to save it in 1Password.

Let me know if that doesn't work.
