18 days agoA winning partnership, secured! 🔐🎉
We are thrilled to announce our multi-year partnership as the exclusive Cybersecurity Partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing!
1Password will bring category-defining security to the high-stakes world of Formula 1 ®. From safeguarding proprietary designs to securing access to key applications needed for racing, 1Password® Extended Access Management will ensure that the team has secure and trusted access to its most critical information across devices, apps, and locations.
And when Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson hit the grid for the 2025 season, the 1Password logo will debut on key team assets like the car, team kit, and in a team first, even on the steering wheel screen upon car start-up.
Buckle up and join us for the ride as we protect access to critical information so they can focus on winning championships!

Hey snozdop! Thank you for sharing your feedback with us on this!
This partnership is meant to educate a global audience on the importance of good security practices by showcasing cybersecurity in an approachable and impactful way. We understand that not every partnership will align with everyone’s views, and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. At the end of the day, our focus here at 1Password stays the same—providing best in-class security and support for our customers.

Ok, but how is showing a 1Password logo on racing overalls or an F1 cars cockpit screen going to 'educate a global audience on the importance of good security practices'?
The blog post and press releases don't mention any of this - only that Oracle Red Bull Racing staff will use the 1Password app and 1Password Extended Access Management themselves to secure their organisations data.
Surely, something like sponsoring cybersecurity best practise programmes in schools would do a better job of educating those most in need of such knowledge?

Now, how about supporting some projects that help the environment?- 1P_Blake

Hey TB,
I hear you! While his partnership is focused on educating people about good security practices, I completely understanding wanting to see support for other causes. We (as a company) know sustainability is an important topic, and while this partnership isn’t tied to that, we always welcome input on what matters to our community. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
