I just got a Pixel 6 Pro and have 1Password set up. 1Password is my autofill service. When I add a new Google account, I long-press on the password entry widget and select "Autofill" from the bubble that comes up, but nothing happens. I've tried turning off autofill in 1Password and turning it back on, but still nothing. Any thoughts? Thanks so much! 1Password Version: 7.9 Extension Version: N/A OS Version: 1223KViews0likes108CommentsClipboard History on Samsung Keyboard
Is there a way to prevent the passwords from being saved in the keyboard's clipboard history? There is that option to remove from the clipboard after n seconds. But that doesn't keep the password or whatever that was copied from being stored in the clipboard history. Important: - I'm talking specifically of Samsung's Keyboard on a S23 Ultra in this case. - I usually use Gboard, but if I change keyboards and go to the Samsung original the past copied items are there 1Password Version: 8.10.8 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Browser: Not Provided18KViews2likes4CommentsAndroid Chrome won't use 1Password, only Google Password Manager
1Password Autofill works in every app that isn't Chrome (i.e. Firefox is fine). Some apps are hard coded to use Chrome for their login screens. These don't work either. Chrome only suggests from the Google Password Manager. Selecting a new autofill service (or even none) has no effect. The Chrome settings have "offer to save passwords" and "auto sign-in" turned off. Unlike the instructions, these options are underneath a cog icon on the "Password Manager" menu, not the "Passwords" menu, which doesn't exist. I think it was working before a recent update, but I can't be sure as I've only had it installed a week and can't actually be sure it ever worked. Am I missing some step, setting or extension I have to install? I was very excited, reading that Passkeys are finally fully supported in browsers and on my Windows it works great. But now I'm trying to use Passkeys in Google Chrome with Android. Unfortunately every time I try to use (or create) a Passkey only the Google Passwordmanager opens and I'm not able to use my Passkeys saved in 1Password. I have set 1Password as my preferred app in the settings and it works fine with other apps than Google Chrome. I am trying to migrate from LastPass but the is a serious problem for me. I have a Samsung Note 8 running Android 9, 1password 8.9.13, and Chrome as the browser. I have the Autofill service set to 1password in the device Settings. I have Autofill turned on in 1password. I have tried it with the setting above supported keyboards and the setting below the fields to which they apply. I am using Gboard, but I tried the Samsung keyboard also, I get no prompts to select a password for autofill, no autofill, indeed no sign of 1password at all. See the attached screenshot. This is not a good first experience.... 1Password Version: 8.9.13 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Android 9 Browser:_ Chrome11KViews1like3CommentsWhat is this floating button on my Pixel and how do I get rid of it.
This floating 1Password “button”. It’s very annoying. It appears to get brighter when in tap it, but that’s it. I can move it from one side of the screen to the other but it invariably ends up being in the way of something. 1Password Version: 7.7.6 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Not Provided Sync Type: Not Provided9.3KViews0likes15CommentsPasskeys on android 14 missing?
Hi Yesterday i noticed on the release notes this line "You can now save and use passkeys in 1Password on Android 14 or later. " As a big user of passkeys, that made me really happy as I was waiting for any news on this. I upgraded my Pixel 7a to the newest Android 14 beta... and nothing. Chrome still presents me with my "system" passkeys, with no option to use 1password saved passkeys. Is this something that will only become available on the release version of Android 14? 1Password Version: 8.10.16 Extension Version: Not Provided OS Version: Android 14 UPB5.230623.009 Browser: Chrome7.5KViews1like29Comments1Password autofill stopped working in Chrome for Android
Device & Software: Google Pixel 6 (Android version 15) Chrome Browser (version 136.0.7103.125) 1Password app (version 8.10.78) My Issue: 1Password autofill has completely stopped working in Chrome for Android. No dropdown suggestions appear on any website, and autofill is non-functional. Update: Other mobile apps effected: myOdeon PayPal Amazon ... Seem anything with form fields. Steps taken to troubleshoot the issue: Toggled Android's preferred autofill service between Google and 1Password multiple times Uninstalled and reinstalled 1Password app Factory reset device Verified 1Password is set as default autofill service in Android Settings > Passwords & accounts Still no joy. Something else of note: Over the past few months, I've noticed 1Password authentication frequently expires without warning. When this happens, autofill silently fails across all apps until I manually open 1Password and re-authenticate. There's no proactive notification or prompt to re-login - I only discover the issue when autofill doesn't work during login attempts. Is there a known issue with 1Password authentication persistence on Android?.... and has anyone experienced similar silent authentication failures? As far as I am concerned autofill should work consistently, and if authentication expires, 1Password should proactively prompt for re-authentication rather than silently failing.7.3KViews6likes49Comments1Password just became harder to use on Samsung Galaxy
Until a few days ago, 1password would offer a field above the keyboard on my Samsung galaxy that allowed me to fill in passwords for the associated app, now I have to leave the app, open 1password, and search for the associated password - any idea what might have happened?
