Unable to fill using Cmd \

Hi,

So I'm on a website and it times out and logs me out, throws me back to the login page.

I hit Cmd \ and mini pops up with the correct domain name listed next to the word 'suggestions' . How do I get it to fill in the details? Surely if it knows what site I'm on Cmd \ should just fill it in?

The only thing it offers me is my main identity which is clearly not what I'm looking for.

It looks like the suggestions feature is not correctly identifying the link between the website I'm on and the login stored for it in 1Password, and yes, I have triple checked that the website domain listed in the 1Password entry is correct.

I also tried 7.3.1 beta 3 but the behaviour is the same.

Thanks,
John

  • Hi @doof

I'd be happy to try and help you track this down. Could you please post:

    • The URL of the page in question
    • The URL stored in the website field of the Login item you want to fill

    Thanks!

    Hi @Ben

    The page is https://bank.barclays.co.uk/olb/authlogin/loginAppContainer.do#/identification

The URL in the website field of the Login item is https://bank.barclays.co.uk/olb/authlogin/loginAppContainer.do#/identification

(both copied and pasted from the respective places)

It is set for Surname / Membership number in step 1

    Hope that helps!
    John

  • Thanks @doof! Could you please also check that the 'display' setting when editing the item is set to 'suggest in browser' and not 'never'?

@Ben 'display' is set to 'suggest in browser'.
Everything works fine if I open mini, search for the entry and press 'Go' (or open and fill as it was), the issue is only apparent when I am already at the page and I try to fill it.

Now on 7.3.1 b4 and no change

Should also add that it seems ok on other sites, it's just this one (as far as I'm aware)

Thanks @doof. I was able to reproduce this issue. I'm going to check with our development team about how we'll need to go about getting this addressed. My apologies for the inconvenience.
