Type of an item dragged from finder?

If I have a secure note and I drag and drop a file from finder (Add linked document shows up) - how is that file stored in 1Password? Does it became an encrypted document?

    @v_j: Yep! When you save a file as a Document item in 1Password, it's encrypted and uploaded to your account:
